As all good things come to an end so does the training camp of SV Böblingen U-13 and FSV Waiblingen U-15 together with the respective teams of ERMIS FC.
(The Three Football Academies)
(ERMIS FC – VOLOS, team U-15)
(SV Böblingen, team U-13)
(FSV Waiblingen, team U-15)
But… when something comes to an end, it’s the beginning of something new; and sometimes, it’s the beginning of something greater!
Well, keep on reading and you will find out 😉
THE FINAL DAY:
Training together, playing together and hanging out together with you guys, was a blast (in a very positive way). Not only did all young athletes have a great time but also, the intercultural experience that all of the involved parties did gain was of invaluable experience.
(ERMIS FC U-13 together with SV Böblingen U-13 )
(ERMIS FC U-15 together with FSV Waiblingen U-15 )
What is more, the cultural experiences that were gained, as well as friendships that were formed, illustrated to the world a very important fact, which is:
That the nonsense that the media broadcasts, making either Greeks or Germans appearing as the bad guys (depending on how they present a subject) is nothing more than politics and has nothing to do with reality! What reality has shown is that Greeks and Germans alike, embraced each other, they respected each other, they had a great time together and they became good friends.
What is more, ASTRA TV Channel (<— A Greek Television Channel that broadcasts on National Level !!!) visited the facilities of ERMIS FC in order to broadcast the event; and on camera, the youngsters of the three academies demonstrated their high level of football (Messi style 🙂 ).
Moreover, interviews were taken from all three academies (the Director of ERMIS FC, the coaches, the team managers and the young players), and it was broadcasted on TV at 18 and 21 o’ clock news.
Another pleasant surprise, was the fact that the reporter that came to take the interviews was no other than Mr. Vasilis Bantidis; who is considered one of Greece’s rising stars in the field of journalism (<— it’s the guy in the picture below).
Well, we might add the following line, without trying to sound arrogant or whatsoever:
Only Stars are able to meet Stars 😛
Finally, we are very pleased to proclaim that the Football Academies of ERMIS FC and SV Böblingen have officially announced through Mr. Chronis and Mr. Sven, live on TV (that is), that – from now on – they have formally become Brother-Academies.
Additionally, due to the aforementioned Brother-Alliance, it has been suggested that players and coaches of the Academies could travel to Germany and Greece for reasons such as: intercultural exchange experiences, training sessions, training development, tournaments and so forth. In any event, when the time will come then the Football Academies of ERMIS FC and SV Böblingen will make the respective announcements.
What we can say with certainty is that we will miss you guys!!!
Eυχαριστώ !!! Danke Schön !!! Thank you!!!
